JAPAN RELIEF | JustFoodForDogs JAPAN RELIEF | JustFoodForDogs

We were thrilled to team up with Desperate Paws of Orange County Dog Club to supply items to Japan after the devastating earth quake. We recently received this email and it just brought tears to our eyes.  On behalf of TrueFoodForDogs, it was amazing to work with everyone on this venture, the turn out was remarkable.

To Everyone Who Helped and there were 1,000’s,
We can not thank all of you enough for answering the call and donating both items, money, time and your hearts.  We can not stress enough that this wasn’t one person, club, organization or business but an entire community here in Southern California, coming together, to show their support and care for the pets and the victims of the disaster in Japan.

We made this little video to say thank you as best we could, since so many of you have had questions as to how it all turned out.  There were more then 10 complete pallets of donated relief items ranging from food, medical supplies, blankets, pet beds, crates and even “Get Well” Messages.  It has been a monumental undertaking not just for us but for many others and it has strengthened our belief in humanity and the Spirit of which this Country was founded on.
World Vets, FOCHP, DPOC Dog Club and all the Businesses which reached out and supported this we thank you.  To the dozens of Volunteers who helped in the separating, packing and loading of the items thank you.  To Southern Cal Moving and Storage for donating the truck and packing supplies, it is a huge debt of thanks we can never possibly repay.  To Allen Packaging for donating packing supplies and for your help thank you.  To H2O Logistics and their efforts of helping non shipping people to become shippers God Bless. To all of those we left out, and we know we did, we thank you all too.

We hope you enjoy this short video as it will truly show the scope and magnitude of how many people turned out and donated items, time and their heart in this effort.

Please share this with your friends as we know we did not get every single email address which had supported this effort as there were simply just too many.

Thank You All and God Bless!

About TrueFoodForDogs:
At TrueFoodForDogs we start with the highest quality, USDA certified, restaurant grade meats, fresh vegetables and whole grains, all of which are approved for human consumption.
We cook our homemade food for dogs, puppy foods and dog treats in small batches in our own dog kitchen and dog bakery. This is a critical point as it relates to quality control and commitment. All of our healthy food for dogs recipes are prepared by cooking our all natural ingredients to the minimum allowed temperature in order to preserve the maximum nutritional value. Whole grains and fresh vegetables must be cooked to a very specific point so that nutrients are preserved and a dog’s system can still benefit from the nourishment these healthy dog food ingredients offer.

Our dog kitchen and dog bakery in Newport
Beach, California was designed from an
empty shell with only one purpose in mind- Making the world’s best food for dogs. We didn’t convert some ‘out of business’ restaurant or alter some old catering kitchen, we built our space from scratch, dominated by our dog kitchen, for this sole purpose. Every piece of equipment and its location is strategic to our homemade food for dogs. “Gentle cooking” is not just marketing jargon. Cooking fresh food for dogs to the minimum allowable temperatures is much more difficult than overcooking everything and putting it in a can or a bag, but your dog will benefit greatly from this process. All of the ingredients in our recipes– meats, vegetables, etc. deliver far greater nutritional value when cooked properly. Under cooked and a dog’s system cannot digest the ingredients (which makes them useless). Over cook and there is little or no nutritional value remaining.
